Patrick Instruments Limited Warranty
1. Limited Warranty:
- Patrick Stringed Instruments (Bryan Patrick) warrants to the original purchaser that the instrument shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the original purchaser’s ownership, provided the luthier (Bryan Patrick) remains actively engaged in luthier work.
- This warranty is non-transferable.
2. Exclusions:
- This Limited Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to, fret wear, saddle wear, nut wear, and finish wear, dents, or scratches.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.
- Damage caused by unauthorized or self-made repairs.
- Damage due to improper maintenance.
- Damage resulting from accidents.
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme or adverse temperature and/or humidity.
- Damage resulting from any other careless action.
- Components not manufactured by Patrick Stringed Instruments, including but not limited to, tuners, cases, and tailpieces.
3. Warranty Claim Procedure:
- In the event of a warranty claim, the original purchaser shall:
- Contact Bryan Patrick to initiate the claim.
- Ship the instrument to Bryan Patrick at the purchaser’s expense.
- Ensure the shipment is insured for the instrument’s full replacement value.
- Prepay all shipping and postage charges.
- Bryan Patrick will evaluate the instrument to determine if the defect is covered under this Limited Warranty.
- If the warranty claim is deemed valid, Bryan Patrick will, at his sole discretion, repair or replace the defective instrument at no cost to the original purchaser.
- Any repairs or modifications requested by the original purchaser beyond the scope of this Limited Warranty must be agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to commencement of work.
4. Instrument Care:
- Exposure to extreme or adverse temperature and/or humidity will void this Limited Warranty.
- The original purchaser is responsible for proper instrument care.
5. Limitation of Liability:
- This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Patrick Stringed Instruments.
- Patrick Stringed Instruments shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.
6. Initial Trial Period:
- I offer a 7-day trial period with a full money-back guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied, I’ll either make reasonable adjustments to ensure you are, or you can return the instrument and case in their original condition for a full refund. Please note, return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
